Hack Black Sea event, organized as part of Teknofest Black Sea , with the participation of 380 teams from 29 countries , ended with an entertaining ending. Within the scope of the competition, participants from various parts of the world and our country tried to identify the desired black hacker within the specified time and conditions. It turned out that the black hacker, who was detected as a result of long efforts, was the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank .

The white hacker teams worked together with the Zonguldak Police Department Anti-Cyber ​​Crime Division teams to try to catch the black hacker. According to the concept of the competition, the teams, who followed the traces left behind by the hacker, eventually managed to reach the suspect’s phone.

Thanks to the clues left, the white hacker teams, who managed to reach the phone and location of Minister Varank, got on the gunboats with the support of the police and went to the cafe where the minister was. The suspects, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and Digital Transformation Office Head Ali Taha Koç , shocked the participants.

Speaking to the press about the event, Minister Varank said, “We combined a cyber security competition with a physical competition. Our finalist contestants who came here also competed by trying to collect awards, running and making effort. Although we are actually white hat hackers, today we put on our black hats and pre-screened in the script. “We participated in the competition pretending to hack a place we revealed. Contestants came here by collaborating with our security cyber security department and locating us from our phones. I congratulate everyone who participated in the competition.” said.
