Apple opened the production window of the iPhone 14 series and has been trying to solve its supply problems for a while. It has also been determined how much of the iPhone 14 series models will be produced, after which the test and then the mass production process started.
According to display panel shipment and production estimates provided by display analyst Ross Young today, it looks like the new 6.7-inch non-pro “iPhone 14 Max” will be produced less often than some other “iPhone 14” models.
iPhone 14 Pro Max ranks first with 28%
In the period between June and September, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the highest share in panel production, accounting for 28% of shipments . The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are each pretty close to the Pro Max at 26% , but the iPhone 14 Max is far behind at 19% .
During the iPhone 14 development cycle, there were rumors that the new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, which replaced the 5.4-inch iPhone mini, was falling behind schedule due to restrictions and manufacturing issues. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says suppliers will be working overtime to catch up and we may see little impact on device availability.
