We are getting closer to the launch period of the iPhone 14 , and the iPhone 14 Pro is of course the phone that analysts are most curious about. Today, new rumors about the storage of the iPhone 14 Pro have emerged.
Research firm TrendForce predicts that the iPhone 14 Pro models will debut with a configuration that will start with 256 GB of storage, while Haitong International analyst Jeff Pu today predicts that the upcoming Pro models will continue with 128 GB of storage initially.
iPhone 14 Pro Storage Will Offer Four Different Options
Pu initially acknowledged that iPhone 14 Pro models would start at 256GB, but in its latest research note it added a 128GB tier to the spec sheet for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Pu now believes the Pro models will stay in the same storage capacities as the iPhone 13 Pro models, namely 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB .
“Based on our recent supply chain survey, we maintain the iPhone 14 production schedule to be 91m in 2Y22 and iPhone 13 to 84m in 2Y21 as there are no major issues in the supply chain. The next step to follow will be the pricing of the iPhone 14.
Also, specifically, we added 128GB of storage to the Pro series in line with our expectations.”
Earlier this week, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that there will be “price increases” on the iPhone 14 Pro models and that they will be more expensive than the iPhone 13 Pro models. Kuo did not reveal exact pricing, but said the average selling price of the entire iPhone 14 series, including sub-models, will increase by about 15% overall .
