Just hours after Samsung confirmed that the One UI 5 Beta is starting to roll out in Germany, a new report by 9to5Google says that the Beta has also started rolling out to some users in the United States.
Samsung’s new Android 13-based One UI 5 Beta is only available to a limited number of Galaxy S22 phone models. Although this Beta is now available long before the expected official launch of Android 13 , which seems to take place in September, it is still shipping to some models for testing.
How to Access One UI 5 Beta?
9to5Google has also released a screenshot of the long and detailed changelog for One UI 5 Beta. Most of the beta features are available on Android 13, but many are also exclusive to Samsung phones. This includes faster access to Samsung’s Bixby digital assistant , along with Bixby Routines that help automate smartphone tasks .
If you own a Galaxy S22 phone and want to be considered for Beta testing, you must first download the Samsung Members app. Then you have to go through the registration process called “Registration for One UI Beta Program” . After that, all you have to do is wait for the Beta version to be sent to your phone. The beta will be available in Germany and the USA, as well as in China, India, Poland, South Korea and the United Kingdom, and further diversification is expected in the countries where it is distributed in the future. There is no information yet on when One UI 5 will be available for generally supported Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
