Raju Pullan , Samsung India ‘s Senior Vice President and Head of MX Sales , said on Wednesday that Samsung is witnessing strong demand for its fourth-generation foldable products in India, with more than 50,000 previews for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. announced that they had received the order.
Record pre-orders arrived on August 16 and in less than 12 hours on Day 1. In a statement to IANS, Pullan summarized the main reason for this record:
“Samsung aims to sell 1.5 times more foldable phones this year. We are confident that we will meet our target because the new foldable phones come with huge updates compared to last year.”

He attributed this huge success of Samsung to the company’s strategy to expand its foldable experience in India this time around . Samsung has expanded its retail network for the Fold 4 and Flip 4, bringing the high-end phones to more than 10,000 cities , including tier 2 towns and more .
According to Pullan, that’s double the number of retail outlets for foldable phones compared to last year. Samsung has also deployed more than 12,000 Fold 4 and Flip 4 demo products in India to ensure consumers have a great experience with these devices before finalizing their purchase .
