NASA announced that they had recorded the sound of a black hole last May . Since then, NASA has been trying to organize this sound so that the human ear can hear it, and it has achieved its goal and shared its audible form on its social media account.

Under normal conditions, since space consists of a vacuum, there is no medium for sound waves to pass through. That’s why anything in space has no sound. The important point here is that the silence of space is not because the objects in space do not make noise, but because the waves have no medium to vibrate. That’s why that sound can somehow be tuned so that the human ear can hear it .

NASA, on the other hand, was conducting a series of studies on the black hole sound it recorded months ago. Located in the Perseus galaxy cluster, 200 million light-years away, the sound of this black hole filled with hot gas has been edited by NASA and made to be audible to human ears.

What causes the shared black hole’s sound is due to the pressure waves in the black hole that ripple through the hot gas. These fluctuations can be translated into sound with the right adjustments .

At this point, the sound of the Perseus galaxy cluster, which is the first black hole sound that the human ear can hear, is scary for some, while it resembles the sound of a vehicle engine for others. You can also listen to this sound above.
