NASA Astronaut Talks About Elon Musk's Mars Colony: "Terrible"

“Life on Mars Will Bring More Challenges than All Explorers Endured!”

Speaking to The US Sun , the astronaut said about the Mars mission,  “Do I think it will be possible? Yes. Do I think it will be fun? No… ” Sharing his experiences during a mission he later made in Antarctica, Stanley Love stated that they shared three wormy apples from New Zealand with eight people, and that even this terrible situation was better than living on Mars.

“To colonize our neighboring planet will bring more challenges than explorers in all of human history have endured for the people who set out to do it.”

Even an apple the size of a ping pong ball will take years to grow on Mars , Love says . Commenting on Elon Musk’s wild Mars claims, “it wouldn’t be like walking in the park” , the astronaut said that it is a very difficult task to maintain human life, let alone establish life on the Red Planet. According to Love, all plans about Mars are purely theoretical. However, the veteran astronaut still argues that these plans should be continued and a colony established on Mars.
