According to Bloomberg ‘s Mark Gurman , Apple is targeting September 7 for its next product launch event . The company usually hosts a big event in the first part of September and now we have a very possible date that we can circle on the calendar.
Mark Gurman expects Apple to hold its big event online this year, as with other events taking place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
iPhone 14 will be introduced September 7-16
It is said that Apple will announce the iPhone 14 series at the event, which is expected to include the standard and new large-screen iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max . Pro phones may be more expensive than in previous years due to rumors that they will lose a pill-shaped punch-hole notch, have an always-on display, and feature a next-gen A-series processor.
The iPhones, which appeared at the events of the past years, went on sale shortly after. Gurman reports that Apple is asking in-store employees to prepare for some kind of launch on September 16 , so if you’re looking to upgrade, you might want to prepare your wallet now.
At the event, Apple is also said to announce updates to the Apple Watch , including a new high-end durable model and a refreshed Apple Watch SE . The company is also reportedly working on the next-gen AirPods Pro , which may come with support for lossless audio, a new entry-level iPad that can remove the headphone jack, and more , so there’s a lot of potential for Apple to showcase at the upcoming event.
