FIFA 23 , the football game that EA Sports will release under the name FIFA for the last time this year, has been detailed. In the official article shared by EA, they explained in detail the developments and innovations that we will see in this year’s game. Let’s see together what will greet us in the last FIFA game.
FIFA 23 features
We see that with the price of Turkey and the astonishing FIFA 23 features, they have decided to take things a little further this year. In the official article published by EA All innovations and details are included.
Better 11v11 match capture and machine learning technologies will be waiting for us in the next generation versions of the game with Hypermotion2 technology. They say that more than 6,000 lifelike animations await us in FIFA 23. These realistic animations are also taken from real football players. All animations are captured from real football matches, including the competitions faced by women’s football teams. They say that thanks to this technology, we will see more advanced animations in situations such as skill movements, dribbling styles, sprints, goalkeeper behavior and head balls during the match.
One of the innovations in gameplay is technical dribbling. Depending on the dribbling ability of the player receiving the ball, this feature, which will now cover all movements made with the left stick by default, aims to increase realism. By combining some of the features of the football player, differences will be provided in subjects such as transition between animations, rapid change of direction or ball control. For example, if a player’s dribbling, agility and reaction are strong, the animations’ playback speed will also change. Or, if his dribbling and reaction skills are advanced, he determines how fast he can move while dribbling the ball.
At the same time, player ratings are a little more detailed. Now, in addition to the basic features, there will be another criterion called “Acceleration type”. This will determine how the player will behave when accelerating from where they stand to their maximum speed. Some players will accelerate at once, while others will accelerate more slowly than players who dash slowly or explosively. Again, this is a situation related to the characteristics of the football player. You can see it live in the video below.
Finally new system for free kicks
The expected innovation for free kicks will appear in FIFA 23. As you can see in the video below, the luck factor will now decrease a little bit and will be replaced by skill and timing. No matter how skilled the player was in the previous system, there was always a luck factor of at least 40%, and in some cases it was affecting the gameplay badly.
There are no bad goalkeepers in FIFA games
Unfortunately, since FIFA 17, there is really no bad goalkeeper in any game in the series. A goalkeeper with an unexpected rating of 60 can become a star all of a sudden. In FIFA 23, they bent the goalkeepers a bit and added a little more realism to their animations. You will now be able to see animations of the keeper’s fingers touching the ball as he glides to recover a free kick that you hit right in the corner with 58 power.
Women’s football teams are included in the game
One of the innovations that we will encounter in FIFA 23, which is not in the other games of the series this year, is the women’s football teams. Women footballers, which we could only see in national teams before, will have their own leagues and struggles this year. At the same time, some skill moves and animations that only female football players can perform will also take their place in the game.
