More than 6,500 pedestrians die each year in the United States due to traffic accidents. According to a study by Smart Growth America , the fact that roads are not designed for pedestrian safety has a large share in fatal accidents. An artist concentrating on road design in the USA has created a safer version of the roads already in the country for pedestrians using the DALL-E 2 .

The project was created by an artist named Zach Katz . Using the Street View feature in the Google Maps application, Zach scanned the roads in America to the DALL-E 2 and asked the artificial intelligence to make the roads safer for pedestrians. The results are quite surprising!

Sharing the new designs that DALL-E 2 has achieved, Zach said on Twitter, “The results are really great. I’m amazed at the potential that artificial intelligence has to help people imagine better cities.” said.

On the other hand, the use of artificial intelligence in city planning is increasing day by day. It is stated that artificial intelligence will be assisted in the design of Saudi Arabia ‘s new mega city project, which was introduced under the names The Line and NEOM .
